Hey everyone!
I’m super excited to dive into the world of sustainable living, and I’ve just stumbled upon the concept of urban backyard permaculture. I’ve been reading a bit about permaculture design principles and how they can be applied in small spaces, but I’m curious to hear about real experiences!
Has anyone completely transformed their urban backyard using permaculture techniques? I’m thinking about elements like vertical gardens, companion planting, rainwater harvesting, and maybe even small aquaponics systems. What challenges did you face, and how did you overcome them?
Also, I’m especially interested in how to maintain biodiversity in such a small space and whether anyone has incorporated wildlife-friendly elements, like bee hotels or bat boxes. How did you design your space to accommodate these?
Would love to hear any creative tips, success stories, or even lessons learned from any mishaps along the way. Thanks in advance for any wisdom you can share! 🌿🐝🏡
