I’m trying to cut down on microplastics from my laundry but don’t want to buy any pricey new equipment. Last week I used one of those mesh bags on a fleece load and it did trap some fibers. Not sure if that’s actually helping or just moving the fibers somewhere else though. Maybe adjusting the spin cycle speed would be a better first step before trying anything else. What settings or tweaks have worked for handling regular clothes without special gear?
