Plastic-free shop still sent plastic – any truly zero-waste options?

Thought ordering everything from a plastic free online shop would cut the waste for good, but the delivery showed up with bubble wrap and those little plastic ties anyway. Spent ages checking their site for alternatives and now wondering if it’s even possible without driving somewhere myself.

Worth trying to hunt down another one or just live with the occasional slip?

Plastic ties and bubble wrap always seem to find a way in even from those shops 😕 Might be worth a quick message to them about switching to paper fill or whatever they can do, since you already checked the site.

bikecommuter, I sent the note to the shop first. Their reply said the ties come from the carrier side and they are still checking paper substitutes with no date yet.
