Why are zero waste companies still using plastic?

Canadian zero waste companies keep using plastic mailers anyway.

Ordered refills from two spots last month. One in Toronto, one in Vancouver. Both listed as plastic-free on their sites. The bubble wrap inside still showed up.

Tried emailing the Toronto one about it. No reply yet.

Call the Vancouver spot instead, emails slip through the cracks too often with small operations.
